Curd aloo(potatoes in yoghurt based gravy)

                      So baby potatoes are at last in season .With baby potatoes  a host of recipes come flooding into my mind .this is  recipe which can be very useful for people who do not use onion and garlic int heir gravies .It is a very quick recipe
with very few basic ingredients and fingerlickingly good in taste .It can  be had with roti paratha fried rice or plain steamed rice

Ingredients :
  • baby potatoes s-750 grams (boiled and peeled)
  • curd-4tbsp (thick)
  • kashmiri mirch powder -1 tsp 
  • chili powder -1 tsp
  • turmeric powder -1 tsp
  • coriander powder-2 tsp
  • cumin powder- 1 tsp
  • cumin seeds - 1 ts[p
  • garam masala powder - 1tsp
  • chopped coriander leaves
  • bay leaves-2
  • sugar - 1tsp
  • salt-as per taste
  • wheat flour
Mix salt and turmeric to the boiled potatoes
deep fry the potatoes till they change colour
                                                                          



take all the ingredients

After frying the potatoes look like this


In the same pan reduce the oil if necessary and add bay leaves and cumin

Get the curd ready by mixing the wheat flour in the curd

pour the curd once e the cumin splutters ,add he turmeric and salt 

Add the chili ,coriander and  cumin powder 

Now in goes the kasshmiri chili 

Once the oil oozes out put in the fried potatoes 

Mix well,and roast on high flame for some time 

Till it looks like this



pour water Add in slit green chillkies(optional) if youwanrt it hotter 



Let it simmer in slow flame for some timee
